Over 1,800 Scholars Deployed to Guide Hajj Pilgrims Across Electronic and Field Channels

Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is providing continuous religious counseling to pilgrims for the 1447 AH Hajj season through unified electronic, telephone, and field channels. Operating from Dhu Al-Qi'dah 20 to Dhu Al-Hijjah 20, these services are designed to ensure that pilgrims receive the guidance they need.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's automated toll-free hotline (8002451000) includes a team of 200 scholars and 120 translators who offer guidance on rituals and worship in 14 languages. This service is part of a broader effort to support pilgrims in their spiritual journey.

To further enhance communication and interaction, an interactive video call service has been deployed via iPads in more than 40 languages. These are stationed throughout Makkah and Madinah, as well as at all air, land, and sea ports of entry. This setup allows travelers worldwide to consult directly with scholars and receive immediate clarifications on legal and ritual matters.

In addition to digital platforms, 1,822 scholars have been mobilized across local mosques, entry points, and primary pilgrimage routes. These scholars deliver daily lectures, continuous counseling, and interactive lessons alongside the remote systems. This comprehensive approach ensures that pilgrims receive guidance in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah throughout their journey.
