Over 32,000 Trees Enhance Urban Landscape in Eastern Region

Dammam: The Eastern Region Municipality has intensified tree-planting efforts and expanded green spaces in Dammam, planting more than 32,000 trees of various types at several locations. The initiative is part of programs to improve the urban landscape and increase vegetation cover.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in Al-Khobar Governorate, the municipality has completed development work on the Prince Turki Road walking track, which extends 700 meters and covers more than 27,000 square meters. The project is part of efforts to improve the urban landscape and enhance quality of life.

The municipality noted that the project contributes to improving the surrounding environment, increasing the region's attractiveness, and encouraging walking and outdoor activities. It also supports tourism and economic activity and improves the experience of visitors to nearby sites and facilities.
