Ankara: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and his Turkish counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, co-chaired the third meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council. This meeting underscored the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as both nations aim to enhance coordination and cooperation across various sectors, serving the mutual interests and aspirations of their leadership and citizens.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting began with both ministers reviewing bilateral relations and highlighting the importance of institutionalizing both current and future collaborations within the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council framework. This approach aims to ensure sustainable growth and shared prosperity for both nations.
Additionally, the ministers emphasized the importance of utilizing the available resources and capabilities of both countries to achieve mutual benefits. They also acknowledged the significant role played by the council's secretariat and its affiliated committees in facilitating these efforts.
The meeting concluded with the signing of the minutes by both ministers, who expressed their eagerness to convene the fourth meeting of the council in Saudi Arabia, with the date to be determined through mutual agreement.
