Saudi Arabia’s Hady and Adahi Project Sets Global Benchmark in Food Management

Makkah: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi, supervised by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, has evolved beyond a religious ritual into one of the world's largest seasonal food management systems. Through highly coordinated supply chains, the project manages millions of kilograms of meat annually from the holy sites to beneficiaries across the Kingdom and around the world, reflecting an advanced Saudi model that seamlessly combines religious devotion, humanitarian responsibility, and logistical excellence.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during Hajj, modern slaughterhouses, veterinary teams, refrigerated transport fleets, and packaging centers operate in full coordination to ensure that slaughtering, processing, cooling, and distribution are carried out in accordance with the highest health and operational standards.

The project represents a leading global model for reducing food waste and transforming the sacrificial ritual into a sustainable humanitarian initiative, reflecting the remarkable progress the Kingdom has achieved in managing the Hajj season through advanced operational and humanitarian systems that impact thousands of families and communities around the world.
