Al-Najeelah Floodplain in Tabuk Region Draws Residents and Visitors in Spring

Haql: Several plains and lowlands in Haql Governorate, Tabuk Region, turned green following recent rainfall, creating natural scenes that attracted visitors to enjoy the spring atmosphere across the governorate's towns.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the natural scenes reflected a diversity of plant cover, adorned in varied colors that formed striking landscapes. These landscapes were accompanied by the scents of wild aromatic herbs such as chamomile, clover, achillea, and wormwood in a vibrant natural setting.

Al-Najeelah floodplain in Haql Governorate is among the most prominent destinations for visitors, given its plant diversity and scenic views. Other sites also draw outdoor enthusiasts during the spring season, as temperatures moderate and valleys and plains turn green.

Rising environmental awareness among visitors to these lowlands has contributed to preserving plant cover and supporting its sustainability.
