Riyadh: The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) as a collaborating center for reviewing and implementing healthcare accreditation programs. This designation underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing its healthcare sector in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Director General of CBAHI Dr. Salem bin Abdullah Al-Wahabi stated that the recognition as a WHO collaborating center marks a significant milestone in the Kingdom's healthcare advancements. He emphasized that this status will bolster efforts in capacity-building and elevate healthcare accreditation standards, ultimately supporting patient safety and enhancing the quality of healthcare services both regionally and internationally.
