Riyadh: Buraidah (Al-An'am) Livestock City stands as one of Saudi Arabia's key centers for livestock trading, drawing in sellers and buyers from various parts of the Kingdom, including the Qassim Region's governorates and centers. This bustling activity not only enhances commercial exchanges but also aligns with the objectives of strengthening food security.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the city covers an expansive area of 632,000 square meters, with designated sections for trading camels, sheep, cattle, poultry, and fodder. The facility is equipped with comprehensive service and commercial amenities that streamline sales processes and offer a conducive environment for all involved parties.

Annually, the city handles approximately 488,735 head of livestock, underscoring its pivotal role in bolstering livestock supply chains both regionally and nationally. Notably, during Eid Al-Adha in 1447 AH, the Buraidah Model Slaughterhouse processed 4,682 imported livestock and 16,164 local livestock.

In addition to energizing the livestock trade, Buraidah Livestock City generates around 600 seasonal job opportunities, contributing to economic activity and expanding employment avenues.
