This marks an improvement from its previous placement in the 801-850 bracket last year, highlighting the institution's dedication to enhancing its academic and research offerings.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the university's progress is part of a series of achievements this year. Qassim University received the prestigious "QS 5 Stars Plus" rating from QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a testament to its excellence in academic, research, and institutional performance. This accolade makes it the first university in Saudi Arabia to be honored with this distinction. Additionally, six academic disciplines at the university were recognized in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for the first time, showcasing the institution's commitment to advancing its programs and solidifying its status among top global universities.

The QS rankings evaluate universities based on criteria such as academic reputation, scientific publications, research citations, international research collaborations, graduate outcomes, and employability.
