Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that moderate to heavy thundershowers, accompanied by hail and active winds, are expected to persist, potentially leading to flash floods in regions such as Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah. Lighter to moderate rainfall is anticipated in Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, and Najran.
According to Saudi Press Agency, skies will range from partly to fully cloudy, with chances of light thundershowers and active, dust-stirring winds affecting the Eastern Region, Riyadh, Qassim, and Hail. The report further detailed that surface winds over the Red Sea will vary in direction and speed, with significant intensification expected during rain-bearing thundercloud formations.
Wave conditions in the Red Sea will range from half a meter to two meters with thunderclouds, transitioning from light to moderate and occasionally rough seas. Over the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will shift throughout the day, with wave heights predicted to stay between half a meter and one meter, maintaining generally light sea conditions.
