Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) have signed the "SEE Agreement," which establishes the legal and administrative framework for the participation of countries and international organizations in Expo 2030 Riyadh. This agreement aims to provide participants with essential support during the preparation stages.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the signing ceremony was held during the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the French Republic. The agreement was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and BIE Secretary General Dimitri Kerkentzes, with the CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh, Talal Al-Marri, in attendance.

The SEE Agreement offers a structured framework for the involvement of countries and international organizations in Expo 2030 Riyadh, covering aspects of design, construction, and operation. The agreement emphasizes the expo's dedication to fostering international cooperation and partnerships, providing participants with necessary coordination and support to ensure their preparations are conducted with confidence.

The agreement also addresses practical elements related to participation, such as travel and visa arrangements, tax and customs facilitation, mobility services, and technical and administrative requirements. This framework aims to streamline procedures and lessen the administrative load on participants, facilitating their effective involvement and ensuring a seamless experience in the lead-up to and during Expo 2030 Riyadh.
