Riyadh: has intensified its efforts to enhance the readiness of areas surrounding educational facilities ahead of students' return to school as part of its preparations to ensure a safe and suitable environment to meet the needed requirements for the new academic year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality explained that preparation and cleaning works covered school entrances and surrounding areas, in addition to monitoring the readiness of roads, facilities, and walkways around educational establishments. The works form part of a comprehensive operational plan implemented ahead of the new academic year to improve the efficiency of these sites and ensure their readiness to receive students at the start of classes.

The municipality noted that enhancing the readiness of the areas surrounding schools forms part of its efforts to maintain public facilities and services, monitor sites and ensure their readiness, providing a safe and suitable environment at the start of the academic year and students' return to their classrooms.
