Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and on taking the constitutional oath.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his wishes for the president's success and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Bangladesh.
