Riyadh: The Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Program for Language Training, implemented by the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation in cooperation with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), concluded its training session in the Republic of Azerbaijan, held from June 17 to 19. The session brought together about 200 teachers and specialists in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the session is part of a series of training sessions held across Central Asian countries aimed at enhancing the skills and professional competence of Arabic language teachers in line with modern educational practices and methodologies. The initiative seeks to improve the quality of Arabic language education and strengthen its presence in academic and educational institutions in beneficiary countries by equipping teachers with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop learning outcomes.
The session featured scientific and practical workshops on modern Arabic teaching methods, reviewed approaches to developing language skills, and addressed key challenges in Arabic language education and ways to overcome them.
