Riyadh will host the second edition of the European Food Festival 2024 on October 24 and 25. This event is a collaborative effort between the Diplomatic Quarter Office of the Royal Commission in Riyadh and the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Kingdom.

The festival will take place at Al-Kindi Plaza and will be open to visitors from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

It aims to enhance cultural exchange between the Kingdom and EU countries by showcasing the rich culinary arts of Europe. Attendees can enjoy a variety of distinctive European dishes and flavors, as well as cooking demonstrations featuring renowned European chefs competing to create exceptional meals, highlighting the culinary diversity among nations.

In addition to the food offerings, the festival will include live music performances and recreational activities suitable for all family members, including a dedicated children’s area with activities for kids.

EU Ambassador to the Kingdom Christophe Farnaud emphasized that the festival goes beyon
d celebrating European cuisine; it serves as a concrete expression of the commitment to engage with the Saudi people and foster cultural exchange between nations.

Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Diplomatic Quarter Office Mazen Bahamdaine described the event as a gathering of cultures that strengthens ties among them. He noted that the festival is part of ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange.
