The Extraordinary Session of the Arab League Council, attended by Permanent Representatives, was convened today to address Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip. This session was chaired by Yemen at the request of the State of Palestine.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation was led by Fahad bin Khalid Al-Khamali, the Deputy Permanent Representative to the Arab League. The meeting focused on the escalating crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza, particularly the separation of the northern part of the Strip and its military blockade from the rest of Gaza.
