Prince Sultan University and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have signed a multiphase project to establish a specialized Saudi think tank focused on public diplomacy. The agreement was signed at the university’s headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of President of Prince Sultan University Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Yamani and United Nations Development Programme Resident Representative for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Nahid Hussein.
The agreement aims to establish a think tank dedicated to developing a uniquely Saudi approach to public diplomacy. This think tank will focus on building local capabilities in the field of public diplomacy, aiming to become a center of excellence and leadership in creative and innovative thinking within the Kingdom.
The center seeks to establish internal and regional partnerships with think tanks and institutions specializing in public diplomacy, contributing to fostering positive engagement with foreign communities, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.
