Makkah: Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Makkah Region Eng. Waleed Al-Daghis conducted field inspection tours of several slaughterhouses in Makkah and the holy sites as part of field monitoring and supervision efforts for the 1447 AH Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the tour included South Makkah Slaughterhouse, West Makkah Slaughterhouse, and Al-Muaisim Slaughterhouse, where officials reviewed ongoing operations, assessed technical and administrative readiness, and examined the implementation of health, environmental, and regulatory requirements to help enhance service efficiency during the Hajj season.

These tours are part of a series of field visits and ongoing inspection programs carried out by the ministry's Makkah branch in preparation for Hajj, aimed at strengthening integration among operational entities and ensuring the readiness of facilities and services linked to the ministry's system in Makkah and the holy sites.
