Riyadh: The National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center (MAEE) has launched an awareness campaign through its digital channels, as part of its efforts to enhance awareness of the importance of water as a fundamental pillar for development and quality of life in the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign aims to highlight the importance of water as the basis of life and to promote improving water-use efficiency and rationalizing consumption. It delivers awareness messages linking conscious water use to sustainability goals, while boosting society's role in achieving the optimal use of this vital resource.

The center noted that the campaign provides practical, knowledge-based guidance to help correct daily consumption behaviors and preserve water resources, thereby enhancing water sustainability and supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.

The campaign comes as part of the center's broader efforts to improve water-use efficiency and conservation across urban, agricultural, and industrial sectors, promote sustainable practices, and unify efforts with relevant entities to achieve water sustainability in the Kingdom, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
