‘Madinah Buses Project’ Improves Access to Quba Mosque via Two Convenient Routes

Riyadh: Al Madinah Region Development Authority, through the Madinah Buses Project, has announced enhanced access to Quba Mosque, the first mosque built in Islam, via two primary routes within the city’s public transport network.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first route, Route 390, operates from the King Fahd District Bus Station to Quba Mosque Station, passing through several neighborhoods and transit stops. Buses on this route run daily from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, with departures every 20 minutes.

The second route, Route 109, begins at the Sayyid al-Shuhada Bus Station and also stops at key locations, including the Northern Central Bus Station adjacent to the Prophet’s Mosque, Quba Mosque Station, and Al-Aliya Mall Bus Station. This route operates 24 hours a day, with buses arriving every 20 minutes.

Commuters can use the Madinah Bus app to locate the nearest bus station and plan their journey. The full route map is available at: https://madinahbus.mda.gov.sa/map.html.

This initiative is part of the authority’s broader efforts to enhance transportation services within Madinah, improve the visitor experience for pilgrims and residents alike, and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to modernize the Kingdom’s public transit infrastructure.
