Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 630 food baskets yesterday to returnees from neighboring countries, internally displaced persons, people in need, and orphans in central Bamyan Province, Afghanistan, benefiting 3,780 individuals from 630 families.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the assistance was provided as part of the 2026 Food Security and Emergency Support Project in Afghanistan. The initiative aims to address the challenges faced by vulnerable populations in the region.
The effort is part of the humanitarian and relief activities executed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, which is dedicated to supporting the Afghan people and easing their hardships. The distribution of food baskets is a testament to the ongoing commitment to providing necessary aid to those in need in Afghanistan.
