Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has inaugurated the Al-Huda Medical Complex along with its annexes in the Qudsaya suburb of Damascus, Syria. This new facility is set to benefit approximately 50,000 individuals in the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Syrian Minister of Health Musab Al-Ali and Minister of Awqaf Mohammad Abu al-Khair Shukri, among other senior officials. The medical complex offers a comprehensive range of primary healthcare services. These include a dialysis center, clinics specializing in pediatrics, gynecology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry, and family medicine. Additionally, it houses a speech and hearing rehabilitation center, a unit for autism spectrum disorder rehabilitation, an emergency unit, a medical laboratory, and a pharmacy.
The complex is also equipped with a social facility and commercial shops, the revenue from which will support the sustainable operation of the facility. Al-Ali praised the medical complex as a significant addition to the primary healthcare system in Syria, expressing gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their unwavering support towards the Syrian populace.
These initiatives underscore KSrelief's commitment to bolstering Syria's health sector and enhancing the capacity of healthcare facilities to deliver quality and sustainable services.
