Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a 2025 project to distribute 6,000 cartons of dates in Al-Mahrah Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 42,000 vulnerable and displaced individuals, as part of a larger plan to distribute 625,000 cartons across 12 Yemeni governorates: The effort is a continuation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief work, delivered through KSrelief, to support the Yemeni people during their ongoing humanitarian crisis and to enhance food security.

The larger initiative, which plans to distribute 625,000 cartons of dates across 12 governorates, reflects KSrelief’s targeted approach to delivering aid where it is most ne
eded. This project aims to alleviate some of the hardships faced by Yemeni communities, particularly those displaced by conflict, by ensuring a stable food supply.
This effort underscores Saudi Arabia’s role in international humanitarian efforts, particularly in conflict zones, as it seeks to provide life-sustaining resources to those in need. Through projects like this, KSrelief continues to play a crucial role in offering support and relief to mitigate the impacts of the ongoing crisis in Yemen.
