Istanbul: King Abdulaziz International Airport has received two international accreditations from Airports Council International (ACI) World: Level 4 Airport Customer Experience (CX) Accreditation and Public Health and Safety Readiness (PHSR) Accreditation. The accreditations were awarded yesterday in Istanbul, Trkiye. According to Saudi Press Agency, the airport received the Level 4 CX Accreditation under ACI World's Airport Customer Experience Accreditation program, placing it among the world's top 12 airports to achieve the distinction. Jeddah Airports (JEDCO) CEO Mazen Johar received the accreditation. The accreditation followed a comprehensive assessment by ACI World covering eight key areas: Customer Understanding, Strategy, Measurement, Operational Improvement, Governance, Airport Culture, Service Design/Innovation, and Airport Community Collaboration. Meanwhile, the PHSR accreditation confirms the airport's readiness in public health and safety in line with internationally recognized standards. Th e two achievements reflect JEDCO's continued commitment to enhancing the passenger experience, improving service quality and adopting global best practices in customer experience, while strengthening integration among the various entities operating at the airport. These efforts contribute to a smoother and more innovative passenger journey at every stage.
