IMCTC Secretary-General Engages with Togo’s Security Minister on Counter-Terrorism Efforts

Makkah: Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, held a meeting with Calixte Batossie Madjoulba, the Minister of Security and Civil Protection of the Togolese Republic, at the ministry's headquarters in Lom©.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing cooperation and coordination between the IMCTC and Togo in the fight against terrorism and extremism. The dialogue also covered various topics of mutual interest aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region.

The meeting aligns with the IMCTC's ongoing efforts to collaborate with member states to bolster regional and international security, while promoting the integration of global efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.

The coalition plans to launch an initiative in Lom© to deliver military equipment to Togo's specialized counter-terrorism forces. This effort is intended to strengthen the operational capabilities and enhance the readiness of these units.
