Riyadh: Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority has prohibited grazing within the reserve, permitting it only for licensed local community members in designated grazing areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority highlighted its efforts over the past years to enhance vegetation cover and regulate sustainable grazing practices, with the goal of preventing land degradation, reduced plant diversity, and soil erosion.
The authority affirmed that penalties will be imposed on those who violate these regulations to protect the reserve’s biodiversity and vegetation. It encouraged individuals seeking information about grazing to visit its website and official channels for further guidance.
