Riyadh: A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Sumatra, causing tremors to be felt across the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was located 192 kilometers northwest of Sinabang, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
There have been no reports of casualties or damage so far, as authorities continue to assess the situation and monitor for any aftershocks.
