Thunderstorms and Strong Winds Forecasted for Several Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds are expected to hit parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds are anticipated in Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions:

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has predicted these weather conditions for Tuesday.

Winds over the Red Sea are expected to vary, with southeasterly to southerly winds in the northern part, northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-28 km/h in the central part, and southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 12-40 km/h in the southern part. Waves will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea is expected to remain calm.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are projected to be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-35 km/h in the northern part and northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 18-42 km/h in the southern and central parts. Waves may reach between half a meter and two meters, with relatively calm sea conditions expected.
