Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy Opens Registration for Specialized Courses in Madinah

Riyadh: The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy, a Ministry of Culture initiative, has launched four specialized courses in Arabic calligraphy to enhance skills and preserve this vital aspect of Arab and Islamic cultural identity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the courses will focus on Naskh, Ruq’ah, Diwani, and Thuluth scripts and will take place in Madinah from October to December. Led by experienced calligraphers, these courses are open to all, including beginners and professionals, and aim to empower participants to master calligraphy techniques, ultimately positioning the initiative as a leading authority for granting calligraphy licenses.

The initiative seeks to promote Arabic calligraphy as an essential art form and cultural heritage, providing systematic training in letter formation and script rules. It underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving this art and aims to establish the center as a global reference for Arabic calligraphy, fostering talent and community engagement.
