Jeddah: Moderate to heavy rain is forecasted to affect parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and the highlands of the Makkah Region on Sunday, potentially leading to flash floods and accompanied by hail. According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds are anticipated to stir dust in these areas, as well as in the coastal regions of Makkah and Madinah.
Fog is predicted to form in the early morning hours along the coastal parts of the Eastern Region, while the southern areas are expected to experience thunderclouds paired with gusty winds. In terms of marine conditions, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 20 to 45 km/h. Wave heights may vary from one to two meters, rendering the sea relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, conditions will differ slightly, with winds blowing from the northeast to southeast at speeds between 10 and 25 km/h. Wave heights here are expected to range from half a meter to one meter, maintaining a calm sea state.
