KSrelief Successfully Completes Volunteer Medical Projects in Port Sudan

Port sudan: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully completed six volunteer projects in Port Sudan, Sudan. These initiatives included two medical projects focused on providing orthopedic surgery for both adults and children, two training projects aimed at enhancing the skills of local medical teams, and two medical awareness projects that offered rehabilitation and educational programs for patients and their families.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these projects were conducted from August 29 to September 4, 2026, in collaboration with Enaya Health Association, and involved the participation of 29 volunteers from a range of medical specialties.

Throughout the campaign, the volunteer medical team achieved impressive results, performing 48 orthopedic surgeries on adults and 44 pediatric orthopedic surgeries, all of which were reported as fully successful. In addition, the team examined 1,365 patients, delivered training and educational programs to 241 community members and patients, and imparted valuable knowledge to 39 local medical staff members.

These volunteer projects are an integral part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and relief initiatives through KSrelief, aiming to support the health sector and alleviate the suffering of vulnerable and affected communities throughout Sudan.
