GCC General Secretariat holds meeting in preparation for 44th Supreme Council Session

Riyadh, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with the members of the General Secretariat in preparation for the 44th session of the Supreme Council of the leaders of the Council's member states.

The meeting aimed at ensuring coordination and integration among the organisational units of the General Secretariat regarding the progress of work, monitoring coordination mechanisms, and communication with stakeholders from the member states regarding the topics and resolutions that will be included in the agenda of the 44th session of the Supreme Council.

The Secretary General emphasised that today's meeting is in line with the wise and sound directives of the leaders of the Council's member states, and their constant high commitment to following up on and implementing decisions, advancing joint GCC work, and developing it in all fields through the esteemed decisions of the Supreme Council in order to fulfil the aspirations of the citizens of the Council's member states and their hopes for further interconnectedness and integration.
