Riyadh: The 10th Special Olympics Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Beach Games 2026 have kicked off in Sousse, Tunisia, with the participation of 11 national programs, including Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom is competing in unified beach volleyball, open-water swimming, and triathlon, reflecting its commitment to supporting athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event, which runs through June 22, aims to promote sports and cultural exchange while reinforcing the role of sport in empowerment and social inclusion.
