Manama: The GCC Commercial Arbitration Center, during the opening ceremony of the First GCC Law and Arbitration Week held yesterday in Manama, honored the President of the Board of Grievances and Administrative Judicial Council, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the recognition reflects the center’s appreciation for Al-Yousef’s contributions to advancing the fields of judiciary and law. His leadership has been instrumental in developing the administrative judiciary in Saudi Arabia, achieving advancements in regulations and services. This honor acknowledges his participation in lectures and seminars on judiciary and law both locally and internationally.
In a press statement following the ceremony, Al-Yousef emphasized that the progress in Saudi Arabia’s administrative judiciary is due to support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the follow-up of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He noted the Board of Grievances’ transformation towards governance and digitalization, which has enhanced service quality, reduced litigation duration, and updated judiciary laws.
Al-Yousef also highlighted the board’s role in enriching legal and judicial sciences through research and seminars at leading academic institutions. He underscored the board’s legal legacy preserved in administrative rulings, achieved through the leadership’s support and the efforts of judicial personnel.
