San jos©: The Ministry of Culture is participating in the tenth edition of the ‘Made Here’ 2025 fair, scheduled to take place from December 5 to 7 at the Old Customs Building in San Jos©, Costa Rica. This marks the ministry’s debut on the international stage at this event, aiming to present the richness of Saudi culture, its globally recognized heritage sites, and enduring intangible traditions to the Costa Rican audience.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry’s participation underscores the ‘Year of Handicrafts 2025’ initiative, emphasizing cultural heritage as an expression of human creativity. The event will feature informational materials designed to educate visitors about the initiative and promote the significance of traditional crafts.
The Saudi pavilion will provide interactive content highlighting the Kingdom’s UNESCO World Heritage sites and its intangible cultural heritage elements recognized by UNESCO. Saudi artisans will be on-site to engage with attendees and demonstrate traditional crafts such as bisht weaving, pottery, and Arabic calligraphy, offering a firsthand experience of Saudi cultural artistry.
