Career Guidance Initiative in Schools Supports One Million Students Across Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The Human Resources Development Fund revealed that one million high school students across the Kingdom have benefited from its career guidance and counseling initiative since its launch in September 2023 until the end of May 2025, continuing its efforts to empower national talent and prepare them for the future.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative has included holding more than 19,000 workshops, 18 career guidance forums across the Kingdom, and nearly 5,000 individual and group counseling sessions, along with other external activities that benefited student counselors and parents.

The initiative aims to help male and female students make informed educational choices and career decisions and discover their professional inclinations early on. Through an integrated system of career guidance and counseling services, students are assisted in mapping their future, defining their professional direction, and selecting suitable academic paths.

These efforts reflect the fund’s commitment to reshaping the Saudi labor market with national talent prepared for the future, focusing on building sustainable human capacities that support the Kingdom’s long-term economic growth, and preparing generations capable of innovation and adapting to future changes.
