According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Border Guard has issued a reminder for all seafarers to prioritize safety by conducting thorough pre-sailing checks on their vessels. This measure is crucial to avoid potential incidents and ensure the well-being of those venturing out to sea.

In addition, the Directorate has provided important emergency contact information. Individuals facing emergencies at sea are advised to call 911 if they are in the Makkah and Eastern Regions, and 994 for other regions across the Kingdom.
