Riyadh: On the occasion of World Health Day, observed annually on April 7, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) expressed appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to its health sector and its successful implementation of health programs and initiatives, based on the fundamental principle that societal advancement depends upon the well-being of individuals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, WAMY noted that Vision 2030 prioritizes the health sector, leading to improved medical services, higher quality care, enhanced patient safety and satisfaction, and better recovery through infrastructure development and institutional restructuring.

WAMY stated that the Kingdom’s support for the health sector is not limited to the domestic level but has extended to include numerous peoples and countries around the world through health programs and medical convoys within the framework of its humanitarian efforts.

WAMY highlighted its role in providing medical aid to needy communities globally by building hospitals and clinics, developing medical departments, and dispatching medical convoys to poor and remote areas around the world.
