Riyadh: The Arab League is participating in observing Morocco's legislative elections, scheduled for September 23, in response to an invitation from Morocco's National Human Rights Council.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Arab League has dispatched an observation mission led by Assistant Secretary-General Ambassador Hussein Al-Hindawi. This mission reflects the Arab League's commitment to observing electoral processes in its member states and supporting the smooth conduct of elections.

The mission is tasked with observing the various stages of the electoral process. It plans to issue a preliminary statement after polling concludes on election day. Additionally, the mission will prepare a final report containing its observations and recommendations, which will be submitted to Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy for transmission to the relevant Moroccan authorities.
