The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, called for benefiting from Seoul's experience in construction and reconstruction.
Al-Hakim said in a statement, "We met this evening a parliamentary and political delegation from the Republic of South Korea headed by Kim Tae-ho, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Korean Parliament, and we discussed with him the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Seoul, and we discussed issues of common concern."
He added: During the meeting, we showed the magnitude of the challenges that Iraq has witnessed throughout its ancient history, and that these challenges have always enabled it to withstand and rise stronger than before, and we expressed our encouragement for Korean companies to invest and participate in reconstruction, especially that the economic situation is witnessing progress after the approval of the tripartite budget and the desire of the government In implementing a service and development programme.
Al-Hakim praised the level of Iraqi-Korean friendship, referring to the nature of the youth community as they are the present and the future.
He referred to the nature of the commonalities between the two countries and the similarity of the challenges that the two countries and peoples faced, calling for benefiting from Seoul's experience in construction and reconstruction.
