King Faisal University Ranks 35th Globally in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026

Riyadh: King Faisal University achieved a new international milestone by ranking 35th globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026, according to results announced by Times Higher Education. The achievement continues the university's upward trajectory over the past three years, advancing from 99th place globally to 35th. This progress reflects the continuous development of its institutional performance, its growing contribution to sustainable development, and its strengthened presence in international rankings and indicators.

According to Saudi Press Agency, King Faisal University President Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Abuzenadah highlighted the support, empowerment, and attention provided to the education sector, noting that these efforts have contributed to enhancing the university's competitiveness and expanding its presence and impact at both the national and international levels.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are among the world's leading frameworks for measuring universities' contributions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2026 edition included more than 1,600 higher education institutions worldwide and assessed their impact in supporting economic, social, and environmental development through education, scientific research, community service, and institutional partnerships.
