The security forces in Maysan arrested 15 accused of various crimes and seized unlicensed weapons and ammunition in separate areas of the city of Amarah, the center of the governorate.

Maysan Police Command said in a statement: "The defendants were arrested during a security exercise carried out to enhance security and law enforcement, and the necessary legal measures were taken against all the suspects."
