Grand Mosque Imam Highlights Virtues of Muharram, Cites Prophetic Guidance on Adjusting Prayer Times During Intense Heat

Makkah: Imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais emphasized in his Friday sermon today the virtues of Muharram and the new Hijri year, highlighting the merits of fasting during this month, particularly on the Day of Ashura.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Sudais concluded his address by referencing the current intense summer heat. He cited prophetic guidance that advises delaying prayers until extreme temperatures subside, ensuring that worshippers can perform their prayers in comfort and safety.
