Yalamlam: The Yalamlam Miqat is witnessing a significant influx of pilgrims and visitors traveling to Makkah during the holy month of Ramadan. The site serves as a gateway for worshippers arriving from the southern regions of Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a series of development projects have enhanced the Miqat, improving its urban landscape and upgrading public services to enrich the visitor experience. The Miqat Mosque, which spans 16,200 square meters, has been refurbished with new carpeting and accommodates over 4,000 worshippers. More than 105 employees and workers are dedicated to serving the pilgrims and visitors.

The Yalamlam Miqat area features a range of facilities, including 500 restrooms, a desalination plant that supplies approximately 1,500 tons of water daily, and a newly constructed 6,000-square-meter reception hall. The hall offers medical clinics, a central restaurant, and guidance and awareness offices to assist pilgrims.
