Riyadh: The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth), in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Passports, has launched a new initiative aimed at promoting Saudi cultural identity among travelers at international ports. This initiative involves presenting travelers with souvenirs and identification cards adorned with Saudi-inspired engravings, showcasing the nation’s rich traditional arts and their significance within Saudi society.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the 95th National Day celebrations in the Kingdom, designed to reflect the deep-seated Saudi cultural heritage. It aims to elevate the status of traditional arts in Saudi society and foster cooperation among national institutions to display these cultural elements during national events. Additionally, the initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in preserving the intangible cultural heritage of the Kingdom.
