Weather Conditions Expected to Shift Across Various Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted a rise in temperatures in the Eastern Region for Friday, with potential light rain in its southern parts. According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds are anticipated in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Madinah, Riyadh, and Najran regions. These conditions will extend to the eastern parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

Gusty winds, along with rain and possible hail, are expected in the highlands of Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran regions. Over the Red Sea, winds will vary from northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds between 10-50 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to over two meters, indicating calm to choppy seas.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northeasterly winds are predicted at speeds of 13-27 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one meter, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
