Weather Advisory: Temperature Drop and Dust-Stirring Winds Expected

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasts a steady decline in temperatures across many regions of the Kingdom, along with dust-stirring winds and potential fog formation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the NCM has announced dust-stirring winds in the Makkah, Madinah, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Riyadh, Najran, and Eastern regions. These winds are also expected in the eastern parts of the southwestern mountains, with the possibility of fog formation in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Tabuk.

Winds over the Red Sea are anticipated to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 25-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly at 12-35 km/h in the southern part. This could result in waves ranging from one and a half meters to more than two and a half meters with choppy seas.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast predicts northwesterly winds blowing at 15-40 km/h, leading to choppy seas with waves rising from a half meter to one and a half meters.
