Tessaoua: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) office in Niger has begun construction of a medical clinic in the Tessaoua region, approximately 700 kilometers from the capital, Niamey. The facility will serve more than 2,000 residents from Tessaoua and surrounding areas, offering services such as reception, medical examinations, lab testing, dressing stations, waiting rooms, and a pharmacy.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Director of the WAMY’s office in Niger highlighted the region’s severe healthcare shortage and commended Saudi Arabia’s continued support for addressing health needs in underserved communities. The initiative aims to improve healthcare accessibility and quality for the local population, which currently faces significant challenges in obtaining medical services.
