Lisbon: The King Abdullah International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) recently concluded a series of intensive meetings in Lisbon, held over two days, to strengthen its global programs, particularly in regions impacted by conflicts rooted in religious and cultural differences.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meetings were attended by KAICIID’s Board of Directors, the Council of Parties, and the General Secretariat. The focus was on reviewing the Center’s strategies for initiatives across Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Arab region.

KAICIID Secretary General Dr. Zuhair Alharthi commended the collaborative efforts of all participants, underscoring their role in fostering dialogue and promoting peace, stability, and societal progress. He also stressed the importance of governance and transparency in advancing the Center’s mission of interreligious and intercultural understanding.
