Jeddah: On its closing day in Jeddah, the Saudi Industry Forum 2026 featured a presentation by Wadi Jeddah on the role of knowledge and technology investment in turning research and innovation outputs into commercially viable products and projects while strengthening links between academia and industry.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the presentation highlighted Wadi Jeddah's new strategy, which includes 19 initiatives to build an integrated entrepreneurship ecosystem, enhance value creation, and attract local and international investment. The initiatives cover innovation platforms, talent development, business accelerators, specialized laboratories, and financing tools.

The presentation also showcased opportunities for collaboration and investment across the Wadi Jeddah ecosystem through innovative factories and strategic partnerships, while emphasizing connections with global innovation networks to accelerate the transfer of ideas and technologies from research and development into high-impact products and ventures with tangible economic value.
