Riyadh: Upon directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Somali conjoined twins Rahma and Ramla and their parents arrived today at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, they were transferred to the King Abdullah Specialist Children’s Hospital at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs for further tests, to explore the possibility of performing a surgical separation.
Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for this noble humanitarian initiative, which reflects the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to supporting people in need around the world.
The parents of the Somali twins expressed their gratitude to the Saudi leadership and those in charge of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program for their distinguished medical efforts in caring for their children.
